Subrata Ghosh (b.1977)

 

I am a mixed media artist, my work spans a range of media such as painting, sculpture, installation and digital art. I create mysterious subjects such as hybrid forms of animal and human bodies in a surreal context, which represents a decaying coexistence between man and nature. My work is concerned with themes relating to environmental degradation, climate change, human action and inaction, and is also largely influenced by my personal experiences, emotions, philosophies and values.

 

I am a graduate from the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata with a specialisation in

modelling and sculpture.
